What is your self-care personality?

You are committed to caring for others (despite your own chronic illness, stress, and autoimmune disease), but how do your self-care skills stack up? Click here to take the quiz.

Does this sound like you:

You wake up every day exhausted and in pain

Your doctor says your lab work is normal

You’ve spent hundreds of dollars without answers

You struggle with a diet and exercise routine

You feel guilty not being able to do more for others

It’s time to stop feeling guilty.

Self-care is not selfish.

You are a conscientious wife, daughter, mother, employee and friend. You are busy caring for the needs of your friends, family, and loved ones. You stretch yourself to the limit and bend over backwards to make sure that others are happy and comfortable. You take pride in your ability to multi-task and volunteer your time and talents to causes that are close to your heart. You are the one everyone else can count on for help!

Health problems developed, however, when you neglected your body’s own cries for help. You’re now wondering if it’s too late to take control of your own health. You want to learn how to stop symptoms before they spiral into a full-blown flare-up and to live an authentic life even in the face of chronic illness, stress, and autoimmune disease. You want to heal!

My name is Katherine Housh.

I am a registered nurse and holistic health coach.

I was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disease when I was a teenager and it affected every part of my life: My plans for college and a career, my relationships with friends and family, and my feelings of self-esteem. I was the girl who liked to help others, but I didn’t know how to help myself.

I learned that each of us has the power to affect our own health and happiness.

It takes a personal commitment to self-care, the right professional guidance, and the support of like-minded peers and loved ones.

Learn how I can help you.

Sometimes we put ourselves on the back burner in order to take care of our family. But it’s also important to remember to take care of ourselves too. Especially when it comes to our health. I learned that the hard way. Earlier this year, I decided to put myself first and joined the Nurse Yourself Back to Health Program and it was the best decision I’ve made!

When I didn’t know where to start, Katherine’s program gave me the direction and guidance that I needed. It taught me how to budget my energy so I didn’t crash every single day. It taught me to find the right support, questions to ask at my doctors office, organizational skills, how to be more grateful despite the challenges I was facing with my health. I learned so many practical things. It gave me the tools to figure out the root causes, balance rest, reduce toxicity and how to set boundaries. It also included a lot of one on one coaching calls and group support calls. But most of all, it gave me the confidence and hope that I would finally be on my way to getting better! Through her program, I was able to find what worked best for me.

If you are struggling with your health and you don’t know where to start, then I highly recommend her program! It is worth every penny! She specifically helps those with any ongoing chronic illness or autoimmune disease. Reach out to her for a free discovery call to see if her program is the right fit for you. She’s also the warmest, kindest person I know.
