Does this sound familiar:
You wake up every day exhausted and in pain?
Your doctor says your lab work is normal?
You’ve spent hundreds of dollars without answers?
You struggle with a diet and exercise routine?
You feel guilty not being able to do more for others?
It’s time to stop feeling guilty.
Self-care is not selfish.
If you are like many of the women I coach, then you are no doubt busy caring for the needs of your friends, family, and loved ones. I can relate as well and often find myself pushed to the limit in my work as a Hospice nurse, caring for patients and their families during one of the most vulnerable times in your lives.
Health problems develop, however, when you neglect your body’s own cries for help. My passion is empowering you to take back control of your own health, to stop symptoms before they spiral into a full-blown flare-up, and to live an authentic life even in the face of chronic illness, stress, and autoimmune disease.
My name is Katherine Housh.I am a registered nurse and holistic health coach.
I was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disease, when I was a teenager and it affected every part of my life: My plans for college and a career, my relationships with friends and family, and my feelings of self-esteem. I was the girl who liked to help others, but I didn’t know how to help myself.
I learned that each of us has the power to affect our own health and happiness.
It takes a personal commitment to self-care, the right professional guidance, and the support of like-minded peers and loved ones.
Katherine really listens! Now I feel more focused and driven to take the time to implement practical steps to improve my health. I have worked with a variety of practitioners over the years and Katherine is one of the few that I feel truly takes the time to really understand my unique challenges. She then helps to build on my strengths so that I can see consistent improvement.
She breaks things down so as to be achievable and gives the courage to continue moving forward. She creates a safe place to dig deep to find the root causes of illness and treat accordingly rather than giving band-aid fixes. As a result, I am feeling more consistent peace, strength, and courage that I am in control of my health and well-being.Arianne
